We wanted something different.
LunarLinc started with a question: what if you could meet people the way you used to — through the things you genuinely love? Through a concert you both attended, a book you both read, a game you both play until 2am?
## What We Built
At its core, LunarLinc is an interest-based connection platform. You tell us what you care about — your hobbies, passions, niche obsessions — and we help you find people who actually share them.
No algorithms trying to addict you. No dark patterns nudging you to stay longer. Just the people most likely to get you, surfaced in a way that respects your time and your privacy.
## Meet Linc
Along the way, we built a little character to guide you through the experience. His name is Linc. He's curious, warm, and perpetually floating through space in search of his next discovery — which felt like a pretty good metaphor for what we're all doing when we try to meet new people.
Linc celebrates every connection you make. He'll be there at the beginning and every step after.
## What Comes Next
We're launching in phases. The core interest-matching and messaging features are live. Over the coming months we'll be rolling out:

- **LunarLinc University** — a dedicated layer for college campuses
- **Enhanced matching** — smarter recommendations the more you use the app
